1. 賽場設(shè)置：以省（自治區(qū)、直轄市）為一個賽區(qū)，競賽活動在省（自治區(qū)、直轄市）競賽組委會的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下，初賽由各參賽高校設(shè)賽點組織進行，決賽由省（自治區(qū)、直轄市）競賽組委會統(tǒng)一安排考場。所有賽點的標準賽場考生必須為30人；非標準賽場考生必須低于30人。凡是安排超過30人的賽場，視為違反賽規(guī)。

2. 聽力測試：所有初、決賽賽點須提前安排和檢查好聽力設(shè)備和場地。聽力測試必須在規(guī)定時間統(tǒng)一播放，在規(guī)定時間結(jié)束，否則視為違反賽規(guī)。自2011年起，全國大學(xué)生英語競賽初、決賽聽力部分將采用光盤播放的形式，光盤配發(fā)比例為100：1（參賽人數(shù)：光盤數(shù)）。若確因特殊情況無法使用光盤播放聽力的參賽單位，在向省（自治區(qū)、直轄市）組委會提交的報名表中要特別標注使用聽力磁帶，磁帶的配發(fā)比例仍為30：1（參賽人數(shù)：磁帶數(shù)），未特殊標注者將統(tǒng)一發(fā)放光盤。同時，為做好保密工作，防止聽力泄題，聽力光盤將設(shè)置打開密碼，由全國競賽組委會于考前一周電話通知各省（自治區(qū)、直轄市）競賽組委會主要負責(zé)人，由該主要負責(zé)人通知所在省（自治區(qū)、直轄市）各參賽單位負責(zé)人。
